The purpose of this project has been to verify that electronically transmissible and functioning materials can be embedded in fibrous reinforcing structures to serve as both load bearing support and antenna materials. The first quarter of 2009 has been spent closing the project and preparing papers for publication. The project funding was creditable for graduating its second Masters student in December 2008 and tests conducted during both Masters research project proved that the concept of embedding antennae in roadbeds is valid and can be successful.
