NTC Organization Chart

The management of the National Textile Center is designed to access the best technical talent,
support the highest quality research, assure a focus of effort on significant problems,
and to insure a tight coupling with industry for maximum technology transfer.

Operations are controlled by an Operating Board composed of the leaders of the six university textile units.
Assisting this board are the Advisory Board and the Technical Advisory Committee.

The Advisory Board is industry delegates, usually CEO's, representing the fiber, textile, apparel, and retail complex, and a representative of the Department of Commerce.

The Technical Advisory Committee consists of industry members, usually Directors of R&D, the presidents of The Institute of Textile Technology, Textile/Clothing Technology Corporation, Textile Research Institute, Princeton, and Cotton Incorporated.

Also on this committee are the Site Directors from each school. The Director's Office is responsible for the day to day administration of NTC, receiving its direction from the Operating Board and Technical Advisory Committee.
