The posters will cover topics in a variety of areas, including: protective clothing, biomedical textile research, electronic textiles & fibers, nanofibers, fiber & fabric processing, novel fibers, fluid flow in textiles, environmental sustainability, textile-apparel marketing, and apparel fit assessment. Project participants will staff each poster, to provide opportunities for discussion and for development of technology transfer possibilities. Symposium presentation topics will include biomedical textiles, protective clothing, biosensors, carbon nanotubes, surface modification, nanofibers, fiber spinning, multifunctional fibers, advances in fiber science, advanced textiles, computer simulations, composites, recycling, and optical fibers.
