Joseph Abelson, an Adjunct Professor in management at the School of Business at Philadelphia University, joined the faculty in 1991 from being president and chief operating officer of International Pigments and Photochemicals Ltd., a Canadian firm. He earned a B.S. in chemical engineering and an M.S. in polymer chemistry from the SUNY. From 1960 to 1986 he held various technical and commercial positions for ICI. Joe's research interests include total quality management and ISO 9000, new markets for innovative products and supply chain management.
