Thomas F. Gilmore, an Associate Professor and the Associate Director, Research, of the Nonwovens Cooperative Research Center at NC State, joined the faculty in 1990. He received a Ph.D. in chemical engineering at the University of Delaware followed by a 26-year industrial career at Monsanto, Stearns & Foster and as the V.P., Technology, of the Nonwovens Division of James River Corporation. His research interests include development of new process and product technology for the nonwoven industry.
