Take me back to NCSU bios Jerome J. Cuomo, a Professor of Materials Science and Engineering at NC State since 1993, is a member of the National Academy of Engineering and received the National Medal of Technology in 1995. He holds a Ph.D. in physics from Odense Universitet (Denmark) and an M.S. in physical chemistry from St. Johns in 1960. Jerry had a 30-year career at IBM culminating as manager of Materials Processing. His research interests include enhanced plasma processes.
