Wallace W. Carr , an Associate Professor in Textile and Fiber Engineering at Georgia Tech since 1980, received a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from Georgia Tech in 1973. Before joining the faculty, "Chuck" was a senior research engineer at Monsanto. His research interests include thermal sciences in industrial fiber and textile processes (particularly radio frequency, microwave, ultrasound and infrared), electrophotographic printing of textiles and polymer properties and structure.
