June Henton, Dean of the School of Human Sciences at Auburn, joined the faculty in 1985. She has a Ph.D. in family social science from Minnesota in 1970. Earlier, she was an associate dean and professor at Oregon State and an associate professor at Texas Tech. In 1990-91, June was president of the Association of Administrators of Home Economics and chair, Commission of Home Economics (National Association of State Universities and Land-Grant Colleges). Her research interests include global issues in higher education, families and work and trade and public policy.
