Larry D. Benefield, an Associate Dean and a Professor of Civil Engineering at Auburn since 1979, received a Ph.D. degree in civil engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute. Before returning to Auburn where he earned a B.S. and M.S., Larry was an Assistant Professor at Mississippi State and at Colorado. His research interests include biological wastewater treatment and mathematical modeling, esp. of environmental systems. [OK]
